New Grande Facebook Discussion Group
We have moved our Grande web forum over to Facebook. This discussion group is now linked as the offical forum for www.thegrandeballroom.com. The thousands of visitors we see every month are now re-directed here to read and share experiences. Content from these discussions will then be selected for inclusion in the book "Ghosts of the Grande - A complete History of Detroit's Grande Ballroom" - Thanks for sharing - Leo

I lived at the house of prayer on Grandriver, and we bought the grade (thinks back in the70"s0 Pastor George Bogel and church went in and really cleaned it up, turned out to be a beautiful place, had a lot of Christian bands play there. Great time
Larry Allman and Helen Budurowich were married at the Grande 33 years ago when Pastor George Bogel had it. I have pics of our wedding. It may have been the last wedding at the Grade.. Would love to post..
If anyone was part of the house of prayer ministry and the awesome inpact it had, please post. Would love to get back in touch. Neil Silverberg and Shelly were married the same day we were. They were part of the Jesus Movement that took over the Grande in the 70s.. I cant believe that we were married there. After seeing all the history that was part of this building
